One of my favourite films ever made

One of my favourite movies of all time. The story, the screenplay and Villeneuve’s direction all pull in the same direction, and nothing in it is wasted.

It takes something as dry as a language barrier and makes it genuinely compelling to sit with. It is a long film that never loses you, and the ending is about as close to perfect as this kind of story gets.
