A comedy with something heavier underneath

The setup is unlike anything else in the genre, and that is a lot of the appeal — it finds a story in a job nobody would think to build a film around.

Underneath the comedy it is really about a man living at arm’s length from everyone. Watching him face that loneliness, and come through it, is what gives the film its weight.
